Call for
Posters
EQAI aims to be a stimulating space for PhD students, researchers, and industry professionals with an interest in QML applications.
The Poster Session is an excellent opportunity for students and researchers to present their results and ideas on Quantum Machine Learning and related topics. This is an occasion to interact with scientific peers in a constructive environment, and for industry and academia to share ideas on future developments and practical applications of the research.
All participants in the EQAI summer school may submit a poster to present their research activity. Posters on Quantum-related topics are preferred, but other AI/ML topics are welcome to encourage building bridges between different disciplines.
We will reserve a suitable space for the on-site students to show their posters at the summer school’s location.
Spotlight Presentations
We are also planning a ⚡ lightning round of spotlight presentations for all posters!
Before the coffee break, each poster presenter will be given a couple of minutes to
project the pdf of their poster and briefly introduce their topic on stage.
It’s a great both ways:
presenters get a chance to get people curious about their work
and the other participants are sure not to miss interesting ideas during the event!
Poster Guidelines
Poster Submission
The poster should be written in English and sent to info.eqai@gmail.com in a printable A1 format (.pdf or .jpg 300dpi), preferably vertical.
Specifications:
> Title: unicode character set
> Author List: please include all surnames and names of the authors
> Abstract: each poster should (ideally) contain an abstract (indicatively up to 500 characters)
> Size: 594 mm wide x 841 mm tall (vertical A1 format)
Submit your poster for approval to info.eqai@gmail.com by August 25, 2025.
Slight modifications afterwards will be accepted, but we kindly ask you to send us the revised version.
Physical poster
To take part in the poster session, you will need to bring with you a physical copy of the poster.
You can print the poster on your own and bring it to the venue.
Alternatively, we can arrange the poster printing here in Lignano. In this case, the poster must be sent to info.eqai@gmail.com and eqai@ditedi.it by August 25, 2025 at 14:00 Italian time. Please note that all posters sent after the deadline cannot be taken into consideration for printing.
The printing price here in Lignano is of 12 Euro: payment can be made at the summer school with cash to the staff of the Summer School (Lucia and Beatrice).
